Get ready to be captivated! Vogue Arabia's new Watches and Jewellery special edition is here, celebrating the artistry, heritage, and the women who are shaping the future of luxury. This edition dives deep into the world of exquisite timepieces and dazzling jewels, offering a glimpse into the passion and innovation that drive this industry.
Gracing the cover is the incredible Aryna Sabalenka, the Belarusian tennis superstar. She opens up about her remarkable journey, from picking up a racket at six years old to becoming a four-time Grand Slam champion and the first woman in over a decade to win consecutive US Open titles. "I immediately fell in love with the sport, and it’s been a part of my life ever since," she recalls. This issue also celebrates her partnership with Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet, marking their 150th anniversary.

Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, the company's CEO, shares their commitment: “We will never go public. My grandfather’s dream was always to see his family together.” The Dubai Watch Week edition, running from November 19th to 23rd, will feature over 90 brands, from established luxury houses to emerging independent brands, with special discussions, launches, and activities for everyone.

Women are now leading at major houses like Audemars Piguet, Boucheron, Chopard, Pomellato, Bvlgari, and Van Cleef & Arpels – a significant shift that could reshape the future of luxury. Alexia Genta, daughter of the legendary watch designer Gérald Genta, who created iconic timepieces like the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Patek Philippe Nautilus, and Omega Constellation, contributes a personal letter exploring why watchmaking is a realm not exclusive to men.
The issue also features 12 exceptional watches that stand out for their innovative engineering. It also showcases Vacheron Constantin's La Quête du Temps, a remarkable piece made of 6,000 components over seven years, currently on display at the Louvre, in honor of the brand's 270th anniversary.
